We have significant experience with construction lending, commercial real estate loans (single tenant, multi-tenant, owner-occupied, etc.), acquisition and development lending, lines of credit, equipment finance, other asset-based lending, loan participations, loan modifications, and other commercial lending transactions.

We take a pragmatic approach to commercial loan transactions because each one is different and each one requires a different level of legal involvement. We have the resources to oversee all aspects of a $50,000,000 construction loan, but are flexible enough to provide meaningful, unobtrusive input on a $500,000 revolving line of credit. Our contribution to a loan closing is as much or as little as the lender wants and as the deal requires. Our goal is to help our clients achieve their business and financial objectives.

  • $7,500,000 refinance/construction loan secured by an existing hotel in Raleigh, North Carolina.
  • $36,000,000 construction loan for the creation of a high rise apartment building in Atlanta, Georgia.
  • $1,600,000 revolving line of credit to an industrial manufacturer in Denver, North Carolina secured by inventory and receivables.
  • $9,800,000 acquisition loan for the purchase of a grocery-anchored retail center with multiple outparcels in Moore County, North Carolina.
  • Numerous approximately $1,000,000 construction/mini permanent loans for the purchase of land and construction of single tenant retail facilities in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Florida, Wisconsin, New Hampshire and Maryland, among others.
  • $4,700,000 acquisition/construction loan for the purchase of land in Charlotte, NC and the construction of residential townhouses thereon.
  • $10,800,000 commercial loan to be used for infrastructure development secured by a number of different neighborhoods in North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia.
  • $7,000,000 construction loan to a church.
